Elmo Calls
Let me start off by saying if your child is a fan of Elmo, this is about to become his or her favorite app! Elmo Calls by Sesame Street is a children’s app that just like all apps by Sesame Street promotes a lot of learning and educational fun! Elmo Calls lets your child participate not only in phone calls with Elmo himself, but also in video calls and even voicemails! When on the phone with Elmo, your child can laugh, play and even sign with their favorite Sesame Street character. The video calls even show your child in the corner of the screen (similar to the way Facetime is set up) while he or she is chatting away with Elmo. If your child is interested in Sesame Street, they are probably at the same age where they enjoy seeing themselves in pictures and videos, too! I absolutely love how the app lets parents set up specific calls about situations that may be relevant to something your child is going through, like going to the doctor or even learning to use the potty! You wouldn’t believe just how much Elmo’s encouragement helps! I’ve learned that first hand!
Elmo Calls has many different calls about all kinds of things. The app is $0.99 to download and comes with the “Sunny Day Sampler” pack. The app also gives you the “Special Visits” packs for free! These two packs include the following video and audio calls:
