Home Design Story by TeamLava is a very detailed gaming application that allows you to build a virtual home room by room. You can design an antique mansion, rustic 
cottage, beach chalet or a new modern masterpiece! Not only can you design a home from the bathroom to the landscaping, but you can also decorate it!
When I first downloaded Home Design Story, I was in love! You can get so detailed with your own taste; it’s incredible – from paint or wallpaper to tiles or carpet! What a game! I must say that you will be completely hindered in the gameplay if you do not have neighbors. You absolutely must have them. I don’t mind playing games with my Facebook friends, but none of mine are playing Home Design Story, so that didn’t work. My other options were to invite friends over email or text, which is absolutely disturbing to think I would have to spam my friend’s phones and emails just to be able to play this game! Absolutely not! I hope you wouldn’t either! My last option is to invite people to be my neighbor using their Storm8 ID. My only idea to even get people’s Storm8 IDs is to find them on the Home Design Story Facebook page. What a hassle!!!!! This game is in serious need of a new set up. You shouldn’t be forced to be friends with “strangers” to be able to play a game!
I have one other complaint, too. The ads are very annoying. I’ve been asked to download Farm Story about 15 times. In fact, one of my “goals” in Home Design Story is to “Install and Play Farm Story”! What? I have a goal inside a game to download and play a completely different game. What a scam! All right, I’ve said enough. Those are my two complaints, and they are big ones. Looking past them, I will say that this game has some serious potential. I think that’s why I’m so upset that I can’t play it without having “neighbors”. I want to play it! I want to completely design the home of my dreams room by room! Who wouldn’t? I’m sad to say that I cannot recommend this game. I can’t even build a third room or finish building my bed, because I have no neighbors to help me, and unless I want to spend a fortune on in-app purchases to buy enough gems that the game will let me bypass getting neighbor’s help, it’s not possible! Just to be specific, if I want to finish building a 4×4 room (with out having neighbors help me), I would need to spend 90 gems. I currently have nine. To purchase enough gems to finish building this room without any neighbor’s help, I would need to make an in-app purchase of $4.99 that would give me 120 gems. So, that’s five bucks to finish building this room. I don’t have any friends that are playing this game, and I most definitely can’t afford to play it without them. Boo!
